Neglect!

Dear neglected blog,
The problem??? I have spent so much time reading other blogs and being inspired, surprised, touched and entertained by everyone that I run out of time to post myself.
The pledge!!! I really will try to not let you go all icky and mouldy again. Time for a new hairdo and a tidy up.

Birthday Boy

We celebrated a birthday here on the mountain a couple of days ago.
Our sweet boy Jed turned two.
He had a lovely day at home playing with his new oven and play food. We had his favourite pasta with garlic and zucchini for dinner and he proudly wore his Birthday star all day!

Dear Jed,
Happy Birthday to our littlest man..... at two you can have a conversation with us, you always say "please" and "thank you" and "welcome". You can count to 12 and you love avocado and watermelon. You snuggle sweetly and hold my hand tightly yet you are desperate to join Tiger at the farm. You are still the most peaceful and serene of souls, but you sure can make your feelings known to one and all. You would follow Tiger to the end of the earth, you adore James, Mim and your Mama and Daddy.
Darling Jed you love with abandon, smile all day and dream all night. Thank you for teaching me so much. Never change. I will always love you.
